Inspired by reports of fresh new lava flows at Kilauea in recent days, and the words, "Aia La 'o Pele, there is Pele." The image in the red glass focal bead suggests her presence and power, ever-changing and transformative. The Challenge (Black, Red & Gold) are represented by Czech pressed glass beads in freeflowing shapes, teardrops, matte seed beads and 14kt gold-filled chain, clasp and dangles.
These very special creations were inspired by the Bead & Button Magazine* Community “Color Challenge,” where bead artists from around the world help each other to “think outside the (bead) box” and try new color combinations.
